BILLING & REFUNDS

Paying for it, and stopping.

Last updated September 4, 2026 · applies to the preview release

1. Plans and pricing

Current plans, features and prices live on the plans page — that page is the source of truth, not this one. The free trial runs 30 days and needs no card; when it ends the account is read-only — nothing is deleted — until you pick a plan. Pro and Studio are billed per editor, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown there; nothing is charged without a checkout you complete yourself.

Purchases are processed by Stripe as the merchant of record (you may see the purchase described as “sold through Link”, Stripe's checkout service, and the card statement reads LINK.COM* C4STAGE). Stripe shows prices in your currency, sends your receipts and invoices, and offers order management on link.com alongside the billing portal here.

2. Subscriptions and renewal

A paid subscription renews automatically — every month or every year, whichever you chose — until you cancel it, at the price in effect for your plan at the time.

3. Cancelling

Cancel any time from the billing portal: your current paid tier on the plans page shows a Manage billing button that opens Stripe's own hosted page for payment method, invoices and cancellation. Cancelling stops the next renewal — you keep paid-tier access until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account moves to the free tier. Nothing you built is touched; canvases, history and workspaces stay exactly as they were, and anything past the free limits stays readable and editable — the limits only stop new growth.

4. Refunds

Subscriptions are not refunded. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the plan on until the end of the month or year you already paid for — that remaining time is what you keep instead of a refund, and the free trial is there so you can decide before any charge at all. Where the law where you live gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase, that right applies regardless of this policy: Stripe, as the merchant of record, applies those consumer-protection rules itself, and either of us can issue the refund.

5. Price changes

If we change what a plan costs, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the plan after that date means you accept the new price; cancelling before then avoids it entirely.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal charge fails, we retry it, and you keep paid-tier access for up to 7 days while we do. If it still hasn't gone through after that, the account drops to the free tier — your canvases, history and settings are kept, not deleted, and resubscribing restores paid-tier access right away.

7. Taxes

Prices are shown before tax. Stripe, as the merchant of record, calculates any sales tax, VAT or GST your location requires, adds it at checkout, and remits it to the relevant authority; the receipt shows the amount.

8. Contact

Questions about a charge: Stripe's Link support handles payment-level questions (the link is on your receipt), and for anything about the product reach the team through your workspace administrator or the channel that came with your invitation.
