Presenting live

Present sits in the toolbar next to Share, for owners and editors. It starts a live session and gives you a link. Anyone who opens it sees your canvas, no account needed, and follows your view in real time: what you select or expand, the tags you filter, the flow you play and every step you take through it.

• The pill reads Presenting · 3 while you are live; its popover holds the link, ready to copy, the count in words (3 people watching now.) and the names your viewers gave.
• Opening the link asks for a name first — You're joining a live presentation, Your name, Watch the presentation — and that name is what you see in the popover.
• Viewers can pan and zoom freely; everything else is yours. They cannot select, expand or collapse anything — the canvas only shows what you are showing.
• What travels: your selection and edge focus, what you expand, the tags you filter, the flow, the step and whether it is Steps or Live, and whether you are on the Diagram or the Sequence. A document's walkthrough travels the same way.
• The session follows your view, not your edits: changes to the canvas save and share the normal way.
• Your plan sets how many viewers a presentation holds; someone arriving past it is told the presentation is full, and the page keeps checking for a seat.
• End presentation ends the session, and so does closing your tab. The link ends with it: viewers see Presentation ended where the canvas was, and the link cannot be reopened — starting again mints a new one.
